The renowned San Francisco Opera presents a special holiday production of Mozart’s beloved ‘The Magic Flute’ (‘Die Zauberflote’). The classic tale of good versus evil was Mozart’s last opera. Containing musical numbers as well as spoken dialogue, the work became an enormous success shortly after its première two centuries ago. Mozart would enjoy the success for only a couple months before his untimely death but ‘The Magic Flute’ lives on, and has become a staple with the world’s opera companies, especially during the holidays.
